I'm pretty sure he knows he has to get his foot down or whatever, and he'll make the adjustments. He always does; thus, it's rather pointless to talk about.

It would be like Cardinals fans saying that Albert Pujols has to start hitting the ball in the air after grounding into 3 double plays on Opening Day.

Guess I just don't see the point in discussing what a superstar has to do better, especially after such a short sample.

It's basically a lock that he's going to be putting up big time #'s when it's all said and done, anyway, so who cares?

Who's playing 3B? Who's going to emerge in the bullpen this year? How can we take a shit as professionally as Wes Helms? These are questions that warrant discussions.
Yeah, let's talk about Wes Helms more!

Also, talking about an adjustment a guy needs to make is different than saying a guy ought to hit the ball into the air. This isn't your X-Box, you dont just hold the up button along with the swing and put it in the air.

Hanley Ramirez always makes adjustments. Seriously, it's rather pointless to discuss.

He's the best player on the team. He's a superstar. The best offensive shortstop in the game.

Adjustments aren't worth stressing over, 9 at-bats into the season.

And I'm pretty sure that Hanley Ramirez knows how to make adjustments better than guys on a message board. No offense, just saying.

As to the last thing - so does Wes Helms.

Our discussions will have no effect on anything ever, they are all pointless. But fine, we can discuss more about who we can trade Leo and three Seddons for in order to get a third baseman and how much of that guy's salary the other team will eat.

I think you misinterpreted my point. I was only commenting on those specific swings. I am sure he'll fix his timing as well. You were the dickface who was like "herher silly fans trying to teach him how to hit"

I was basically saying "shit, he needs to get his foot down." and you interpreted it as "he's never gon get his foot down, he's going to suck forever.

Murphy said he's back in a few days so I hope it's Boner until then

The only difference is that Wes Helms doesn't belong in the big leagues anymore. But yeah, Wes Helms probably knows more than us about hitter adjustments, as well.

You weren't really the only one commenting on Hanley Ramirez, in case you didn't notice.

I guess I was just laughing because in a game where we lost/last year's problems showed up again, I found it funny that the main point of discussion was Hanley Ramirez getting his foot down. That's all.

I wonder how he'd do in such a role; maybe it would give him the power to teach Hanley how to make the necessary adjustments every nine at-bats, or so.

Well, if he did something different tonight, he should definitely change it. If he did the same thing he's always done, he should definitely not.

I dont think you mess with what brings someone like Hanley success, assuming that nothing has changed.

It's not something that's always going to be the same, it's just timing your load. Getting your timing down.

                    It was mentioned twice.

The main point of discussion here is Wes Helms and its very dumb.

Wes Helms as our best right-handed bat off the bench is certainly a bigger problem, and worth talking about more, than Hanley Ramirez occasionally not getting his foot down; that's for damn sure.

Plus, it's always fun to make jokes about Wes Helms.

I might argue that Hanley is not the top offensive SS in the game. I might not argue that. I would argue that he and Tulo are 1 and 1A if I were to argue anything.

Hanley's clearly a better offensive shortstop. By probably 20-30% at each of their respective peaks.

Tulo makes it up with his glove.
