The inning where Hanley came up with a runner on 3rd was the key to the game. Hanley needs to start getting back to driving the ball up the middle. Also they were terrible at working the count tonite with the exception of the 1st inning. Niese should of been gone by 4th or 5th inning. Oh and Helms was all kinds of suck with his AB tonite.

Hanley has always been terrible on challenge fastballs. Nothing new, he'll be fine.

        Foot down Hanley.

He probably never saw fastballs in the Dominican, especially not with two strikes.

Everyone's telling Hanley how to hit; that's rather funny.

Hanley hits .300 without trying; I'm sure he'll be fine.

He shouldn't get his foot down?

Has he been not getting his foot down in the past?

I do not know. It didn't come down early enough in that AB.

If Hanley bats standing on one leg and holding the bat with his mouth, I will still trust him.

I don't think the career .313/.385/.520 guy needs advice on how to become a better hitter. Especially considering it's been a grand total of nine at-bats so far on the year.

BECAUSE THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!

Thank god Erick is here to tell us Hanley can't improve and that he does everything perfectly.

If he don't get his foot down earlier, he ain't gon get on top of high cheese. If Madman is actually the 2-time All-State OFer he says he is, he he will agree.

I'm just saying. .313/.385/.520 is pretty damn perfect to me.

I'm pretty sure he knows he has to get his foot down or whatever, and he'll make the adjustments. He always does; thus, it's rather pointless to talk about.

It would be like Cardinals fans saying that Albert Pujols has to start hitting the ball in the air after grounding into 3 double plays on Opening Day.

Guess I just don't see the point in discussing what a superstar has to do better, especially after such a short sample.

It's basically a lock that he's going to be putting up big time #'s when it's all said and done, anyway, so who cares?

Who's playing 3B? Who's going to emerge in the bullpen this year? How can we take a shit as professionally as Wes Helms? These are questions that warrant discussions.
