My whole, entire point in ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that I have said in this thread is that the demotion was unfounded. If you look at this game along with what he was doing in the majors, he has been good enough to not be in AAA. It's not just one start I'm looking at. Today's game just shows that his last start was an abnormality because this start fits with the 14 out of 17 other start he made in the majors where he went at least 5 innings and kept the team in the game. In fact, walks aside, this was better than a lot of those other games.

15 out of 18. That's how many times this year that Volstad has gone at least 5 innings. If that is not consistent, I don't know what is unless you think that has to be 18 out of 18.

NateBob almost goes 5 ip just as often as Volstad. He is a model of consistency. One time he lasted 4.2 which is basically 5.

You want to go there? 11 out of his 18 starts this year, he has gone at least 6 innings. His average innings pitched this year in 6. Ricky has gone at least 6 innings 13 out of 18 games. Robertson is 8 out of 17.

My apologies, I meant to say he should go 6-7 innings, while giving up no more than 3 runs. And NateRob is a 5th starter, he is supposed to not be the best. And 11 out of 18 isnt very good anyway.
