    The southern league BB% (9.0%) is higher than the NL BB% (8.6%). They also strike out the same amount (18.9%).

    Obviously part of that has to do with the fact that the quality of pitching is worse in the southern league but don't act like he's pitching against 9 Jeff Francoeurs

    I agree though that the thing to look about for Andrew is how much he's walking and how much he's striking out, who cares how many hits he gives up and how the defense fared behind him.

      Here's an interview with Andrew. I post this mostly so y'all could see the facial hair he is working.

        Speaking of Andrew, here's his latest stat line from Friday;

        6.2 IP, 7 H, 7 R, 2 BB, 7 K.

        I don't know what to say about him anymore. In a way, this is encouraging that he only walked 2 and struck out 7 but 7 runs is bad.

          7 hits but I'd like a breakdown. Shitty defense? Bunch of HRs? What?

              All the runs were earned. 2 of the hits were homers and another went for a double. Can't say much beyond that since I didn't see the game.

                Should of asked for Porcello as a PTBNL. Or something.

                  He was not drafted by the tigers at the time of the trade.

                        I feel like this is not true. I feel strongly that it is not true.

                          Cabrera was traded in december 2007

                          Porcello was drafted months later in June 2007

                          So Porcello wasnt part of the tiger's organization when we traded Cabrera

                            I am not positive if this is right or if my brain is or is not exploding, but isnt June 2007 not months later than December 2007?

                              Something is not right with your math there. June 2007 is before December 2007. Given what you posted, Porcello was part of the Tigers organization when we traded Miggy and Dontrelle.

                                Porcello was a part of the Tigers organization. Cabs was traded 6 months after Porcello was drafted. The Fish could of done it as a PTBNL with the explicit instructions that that player be Porcello in August of 2008.
