      They had Gaby throw as hard as he could at the tanks and nothing happened. Don't know if that's anything close to a foul ball, but they at least "tried."

            I read that the angles are such that a foul ball can't hit the glass directly. It would either hit the ground first or go above the tanks.

                      It's not so much I'd worry about the glass breaking, it's that the fish would be shocked/harmed from balls hitting the tank. That's why they don't want you smacking the fish tanks at aquariums and such.
