I have no idea. Is 1-2 extra outs per month over a legit left-handed bat worth it? (assuming one was available)

You've got three guys, none of whom can hit.

One is super fast, and despite being infuriating to watch last year, should at the very least be a good pinch runner.

One is a pretty good defensive player.

One is left handed, but he's a really not good hitter.

If you're gonna have two of them, the last guy definitely shouldn't be one of the options.

Yeah, assuming a legitimate left handed bat was available is fun. If you can find him, by all means, get him up here.

I'd rather have Donnie Murphy than Boner, but I understand cutting Lamb and bringing up Boner.

Also, I feel like I've moved away from my original point, which wasn't Barden sucks. It was that having two no-offense back up infielders sucks.

I hate two things:

The bullpen and the way Fredi uses it.

I hate that it's full of crappy pitchers. I hate even more that we let it turn into a merry-go-round of runs before we go get one of those pitchers. I also hate that we protect ties more than we try to hold leads. I loathe that we constantly manage the 7th and 8th innings as if we have the 11th and 12th to worry about.

Well, you have to consider that in bringing Boner up, we did just send down another no-offense back up outfielder, and at least upgrading the bench with whichever one of Maybin, Coghlan, or Stanton isn't starting that given game.

I don't like either player, but they are the fucking 24 and 25 men on the roster. Those guys aren't making or breaking your team at all.

It could. You put them in for defense yet the game goes for extras and say Cantu or CC's bat is out of the lineup. You put Bonifacio in to pinch run and he continues to be a clueless lump of spoiled butter on the basepaths.

Having them both on the team at the same time is like forming a music super group that features Yanni and Fred Durst.
