So the Marlins are now selling unused tickets to the perfect game. I find that interesting... nothing like a good ole' money grab! They also removed the pitching rubber and gave it to Halladay which is nice.
In addition, they removed home plate and plan on using it in the new ballpark as part of the team's history or something... I find that odd. I guess I understand that it has only been done 20 times and it's a prett big deal, but to celebrate it happening against you?

Maybe I'm not understanding this correctly but why would someone want a ticket stub to a game they did not attend? If I was Festa and I was actually there I would laminate that shit and pass it down to future generations.
I guess if it's purely for the $$ appreciation of the stub itself then why not but.....

Removing the home plate and keeping it for historical purposes is actually fitting, I think, since it perfectly (no pun intended) demonstrates our team's offensive approach for what seems like forever.God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.
