I think every manager is dumb and I don't think Fredi is metes and bounds dumber than them.

Managers don't do much but it doesn't stop teams from firing them mid-season when teams are doing poorly. The Rockies did it last year and look how that worked out for them. Do people really think Fredi is going to be here next season? I say they just fire him for the sake of firing him.

i'd love to get bobby v, i've made that known, but i'd bet he'd really butt heads with loria and co.

in all honesty i wouldn't mind having another rookie manager if it was a good choice. i think wallach has done great things in the dodgers organization. he's got experience as a hitting coach and was known for being a great fielder in his career. i'd definitely be a fan of that.
