Wow... the moves make sense. Veras was worthless and probably shouldn't have been on the team out of ST. Sending Boner down makes sense since BC is back. No need for a super utility when you bring in a true outfielder and have a couple other guys on the bench that can play all around the infield. Plus, it lets Boner get some everyday ABs and if they think he can eventually play in the long run it will help him develop a bit more rather than rotting away on the bench and seeing no PT.

Hopefully Leroux can give us some decent innings... he can't be any worse than Veras lol.

I'm actually surprised we reacted as forcefully and as soon as we did.

          Brilliant.
This is a Dolphins town, though.

BC starting tonight apparently, with Maybin leading off.

                  Gaby in the 2 hole?

Also Coghlan out tonight, BC will start, Maybin will lead off

Edit: Coghs says he is out with a sore hip

Coghlan looked lost at the plate from what I saw yesterday.

Also, does Maybin not suck now?

If you watched how he dove for that ball last night I'd understand why he's sore there.

Also I want to see BC just gun someone out at any base.

He's working the count and getting On-base so no matter how crappy he seems to look he's getting it done offensively for the most part in what he's suppose to do at the top of the order.

Maybin has looked OK offensively. He still is striking out too much, but he's getting on base well, having reached base at least once each game since the first.

Cogs isn't really working the count and getting on base, that's the biggest concern with him in the early going. He only has like 1-2 walks and 10-11 ks which is very unlike him.

I'm sure he is a little sore after that dive, and he made an incredible catch. But I also think getting him a day or two off to clear his head has to do with his slow start.

                              ------

Oh I re-read your comment.. were you talking about Maybin? Yes he has had some decent ABs and has looked OK at the plate so far.

It's like at the end of Lord of the Rings when they finally toss the ring into the fiery chasm from whence it came, but this time it's Bonifacio and Louisiana.
