    Veras was DFA'd and Bonifacio was optioned to NOLA. Brett Carroll has been reinstated from the DL and Chris Leroux has been recalled.

                          Barden is also better defensively in the IF (I imagine Boner is in the OF because of his speed, but we now have BC for that)

                              Good point.

                              This gives us a more typical bench, and I like BC as the 4th outfielder, tough LHP option, defensive replacement guy.

                              CC made a great catch last night, but he's probably worse than Hermida out there, and I would like BC to play those late innings sometimes.
