Good enough to deal Logan for? Unless it's for a good closer, I think it would be a mistake.

He's awesome, and he's got a fantastic nickname, but I don't know. As much as I like Gaby, I don't think he's the long term answer at 1B.Last edited by Bobbob1313; 04-09-2010, 01:29 PM.poop

Also, I know it was just being thrown out there, but Logan isn't a good fit for KC. They have a handful of 1B including Billy Butler.
I'd much rather try to bundle Gaby with like Ryan Tucker and see what we can get. Logan is the better long term bet by far. This isn't like Stokes-Gonzalez where it's a toss up.poop

I don't know that I'd deal Morrison for a closer, even if Gaby keeps hitting.
That said, if Soria became available, they'd almost have to consider dealing high-caliber prospects for him. Soria's age and ridiculously friendly contract ($4 mil in 2011, club options on 2012-2014 with the highest salary being $8.75 mil in 2014, possibility that 2012 option vests at $6 mil if Soria meets certain IP benchmarks) make him a great fit for both the short term and long term.
