Cameron Maybin could start Wednesday

Center-fielder Maybin, out for more than a week with a sore groin, ran today back in Jupiter, a big improvement. Gonzalez said there’s a good chance Maybin will play Wednesday. “Hopefully tomorrow a couple of at-bats,’’ he said.

Third baseman Jorge Cantu stayed back in Jupiter because of the flu but is feeling better. “He’s doing some activities and he should be good tomorrow,” Gonzalez said. “He’s feeling much better.’’
