Definitely the best thing we got back for Lindstrom.

Thats how it appears now but one of the other 2 can always turn into something in a few years. They are after all fairly young.

So I guess there is a legitimate chance that Jimenez sees considerable playing time with the team this year?

that's the point of Rule 5, gotta keep the guy on the active roster.
              Record when He pitches: 3-2

Is he subject to the rule V rules though since he was traded by the drafting organization?

As in, wouldn't the roster requirements be with the Astros?

the restrictions carry over to the new team. and if the new team decides not to keep him on the roster they offer him back to the original team, not the team that drafted him

The question is will the Astros be paid if the original team wants him back or will the marlins be paid?

                        It works like this

Houston picked Jimenez from Boston and paid the $50,000(We can't afford that)
Houston then traded Jimenez to Florida
Jimenez has to stay on our roster ALL Season or DL if injured
If we don't want him he goes on waivers and another team can claim him
If no other team wants him,we offer him back to Boston for $25,000 which goes to Loria's new painting or work out a trade with Boston that let's us put him in the minors. If Boston does not want him he becomes a FA and can sign with anyone
So it's like Houston picked him put him on waivers and we claimed him

Does Dominguez even have 80 arm strength?

I hear he has 20 shield resistance and also deflects all wizard oracles.

I have a hard time believing anyone in our organization other than BC has 80 arm strength (and call me skeptical of Jimenez' '80').

Unless we're talking 0-100 instead of the typical 20-80

Pretty sure that's what they were going by because something also said his contact was rated 91 or something, right?
