It doesn't look like we're going to make up any ground in the wild card but he gained a dame in the division!

Phillies Vs Cubs and Braves next two series is nothing but a win-win. So long as the Fishies take care of business.

Upcoming Schedule should be really shown to show the amazing stretch we have.

                      Houston 4
                      Colorado 3
                      @ Houston 3
                      @ Atlanta 3
                      New York 3
                      San Diego 3
                      Atlanta 4
                      @ Washington 3
                      @ New York 3
                      Washington 3

That is 33 games over the next month-plus, and only Colorado is over .500. The road trips all have built in off days.

Minimum 19-14. They need to destroy this as we then have a long run trip to St. Louis and Cincy, come home to play the Phillies, and then a week and a half later end the year with 3 games in Philly.

Phillies schedule is only 'slightly' tougher, being two tough series versus one (CHC, SF) during this stretch.

I totally did not realize that but see now. And a +37 run differential. Damn.

But we can knock them out too.

to add on lou post, the golden number to reach is 90games.
                              right now the marlins 58-53
so in the remaining 51 games they have to go 32-19 or 13 above .500

possible, but i think the marlins need to go on a long winning streak, like 8 straight or 9 out of ten, to have a realistic shot.

The Braves scared me, they have one of the best pitching staff in the league, and i can see them making a big run, but the marlins played better well against them this year

Considering we have gone 39-28 since we bottomed out at 19-25 (with a VERY tough schedule to boot), going 32-19 over this final stretch is very possible. I agree that Atlanta is scary, though.
