  • 4.5 games behind COL

COL has to come back down to earth a little.

I have to get ready for work (and I'm lazy) but it would be cool to see some Strength of Schedule stuff for COL. SFO, FLA and ATL for the remainder.

Where We Stand going into the Padres series
4.5 back of the Wild Card (3rd place) [+0.5 game, +1 place]
7.0 back of the Division (2nd place) [+0.5 game, +1 place]

13-11 in the Nick Johnson Era

          Remaining Homestand
3 vs San Diego (3-0 on season; 0-0 at home)

This series is pretty make or break for us, considering the other four teams in the race are playing each other.

God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

                      • right now im be happy if the marlins finished 2nd in the division with 85wins+. I know that means nothing in the great scheme of things. But it would be cool.

                        • If Nick Johnson comes back like in a week (doubtful), I think we can make one last push. It's very improbable at this piont, but there's certainly enough time to get one last hot streak
