well 3 walks from brinson is encouraging. i want to see more of that before we call him up. 1 more month, call him up mid july, then let him play everyday and dont actively sabotage him by hitting him 8th in the NL right behind guys like Rojas and Granderson rather than giving him an actual chance to succeed and hitting him at the top of the lineup.

i can refer to denbo and the front office a list of about 20 guys who have no business still being in our system. Time to stop rewarding terrible play. 1 bad year is one thing, but these guys who have never done a thing in our system yet keep making it all the way up to AA and AAA needs to end. Stop rewarding abysmal play. Im sure they will start to do so once they can get their own depth guys in the system, but i cant wait to not see some of these guys in our MILB box scores.

what exactly are we doing with Brayan Hernandez and are we just going to release him in a few weeks when the rest of our draft class gets signed? I believe he is from the phelps trade (or another trade with the Mariners) and the guy has been in Batavia 3 straight years now.

Unlike the last FO this bunch is willing to put in work and do small stuff so wouldn't be surprised if we tried to trade some of these guys who dont fit in anymore(When I say trade I dont mean for anything of real value) instead of just releasing them

Lets see what Encarnacion can do against some actual competition for him. Im not optimistic because his numbers scream that he is going to be another one of these guys that succeeds in A ball before getting to jupiter and shitting the bed, but he's pretty much the only guy we have right now from the previous regime that is still in the minors and has any kind of potential so hopefully he can put it together.

Brabrand/Doc Johnson/Joey Steele/Lindgren are all in Batavia

Still early in season but DSL Marlins are 10-6 and leading division
Some solid guys there.
Julio Machado is owning the league hitting .367-playing 1B for some reason?(1B/2B/SS/3B)
Cristhian Rodriguez has 3 HR and been playing 3B
Raul Campos(Cuba 17yr) has looked solid too. His brother who people say is better is IFA this year
Arms look good too-Breidy Encarnacion/Delvis Alegre/Josan Mendez/Maycold Leon/Quinonez/Sandro Bargallo(Cuba 17yr) 3 innings 7K are a few
