this system is looking very encouraging the last month or so. I didnt think diaz should be promoted any time soon but if he keeps it up im gonna have to eat my words. He's been great this year.

Yeah gotta say lou that's a great list. Didn't find much I disagree with (even my love for Neidert has to admit the injury this season has been worrisome). Gallen's spot was right before his complete breakout this season. We all thought he was a solid future #3/4 starter, but if he can grow into a major leaguer even quicker than expected with higher upside then God bless.

Monte (100-125 range) - Trending Up

Devers (Fringe top 125) - Trending Up (I think they were onto something here)

Garrett (need more innings with the next 5 to get more excited)
Holloway

E. Cabrera - Trending Up
Rogers - Trending Up

O. Johnson - Trending Down
Fortes - Trending Up
B. Miller
Vallimont - Trending Up
Fitterer (Fangraphs gives this rating)
Pompey
Quijada
Gallen, Diaz, Ferrell, and Quijada are going to graduate, but the rest shouldn't into the offseason. They have some assets to sell so they probably fill out some FV40+/FV40 with a few more guys. This is getting pretty deep, and it doesn't include guys like E. Hernandez and Sierra who have to be FV40 at minimums, let alone the 8-10 guys we like at the MLB level.
Spend the free agency money on two huge bats!
Zac Gallen entered the Baseball America Top 100 prospects list at No. 98 and that was *before* another fantastic start last night But at the same time, VÃctor VÃctor Mesa plummets from No. 55 to No. 88. By far the largest drop for anybody on their list.

This is same with VV,people are crapping on him but Miami's plan all along was to get him as many AB's as possible this year
U send VV/Neidert to AFL

Personally think people need to cool the jets on Diaz a bit. He had not beed particularly good before this little hot streak he is on over the last 2 weeks.
Granted he was decent in AA last year before his AAA callup last season which did not go well.
MLB pitching would not be kind to either him or Harrison IMO.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Or a hairstylist."

Diaz has a major K rate decrease going on, power up tick, and walks consistent. This is a real step forward.

I think we've seen a pretty apparent pattern with Diaz, that it's taken him a little while to get comfortable at each new level of the minors. I don't think what he's done in the last two weeks is a fluke, but also we've got no rush, we've got until August 1st to move on from Castro. We'll have a much larger sample size at that time to evaluate. He's got a career OPS of .806 in the minors, it's not like what he's doing is out of nowhere for him.
