Growing number of insiders consider Nelson the Marlins top position player prospect


Whoever doesn't consider James Nelson to be the Top Position Player has no clue what they are talking about-Insider OR 40 yr old mom who brings her kids to a game. The only other "Top" position guy even playing is Stone Garrett and he has looked terrible. Soto(Hurt),Jones(Ex ST),Dean(Hurt),Guaimaro(Ex ST),Sean Reynolds(Ex ST)

They changed his mechanics which was the reason he was in Extended ST. Wouldn't be too concerned yet,same thing happened with Kolek-they changed his mechanics and they knew pretty quick it was TJ. He probably already got an MRI and it showed nothing which is why they said "rest"

That is the one thing when u screw with a guys mechanics-most of these kids have thrown the same way for 5 years. All of a sudden Benedict gets a hold of them and says do this or that to clean it up. They do it and it takes the arm some time to adjust. Now in July if he still hasn't pitched its time to get worried

Spoke too soon I guess,Braxton Garrett is now getting an MRI. Paging Dr James Andrews,Jeff Loria is on the phone he wants to know how many more TJ surgeries till he gets a free one??

DSL isn't half bad-I guess that's what happens when u play 90% totally new guys but the most surprising thing tho is they are doing it with 16 yr old pitchers. Would be nice to see some of these guys develop for us
