Nice to see Jeff Brigham is back.

Also he isn't a prospect anymore and likely will be moved to 2B since James Nelson will be 3B soon but Brian Schales has had a decent year in Jupiter. Would be nice to see us do this with guys in the future like Sullivan/Stone Garrett or anyone else who struggles in their first year in Jupiter-instead of releasing them give them another year at the level.

Career high K's for Richards. ERA down to 2.41 in Jupiter.

Great start by Beggs after a few meh starts in a row. ERA down to 2.69 in GBoro.

Good game by Brian Anderson. He definitely needs to break out some more as he's currently in JT Riddle level of prospect atm (and yeah I know Riddle is doing relatively well in the majors right now but I'd hope for more from Anderson).

Anyone know anything about Richards? His numbers are impressive. He just turned 24, so hopefully they move him to Jacksonville soon. Beggs also needs to be moved up a level.

Good to see Anderson start to heat up a bit.

Crescentini,Keller,Brewster and Beggs should be moved to Jupiter and Richards,Both Kinley's,Holmes should be up in Jax

Problem is they have guys in High A-Beckman,Alonzo,Cortright,Neumann(All minor league FA 26+) and in AA-Adkins,Bencomo,Schlereth,Mazza who are blocking everyone. None of these guys will ever be anything but they are treating them like future major leaguers. Instead of moving a Richards up they just sign some crappy FA

James Nelson keeps on hitting...and good to see Anderson reach base 3 more times.

Also, John Norwood is putting together a nice year in Jacksonville. OPS is now up to .858.

                    From 5/30

                    More good news from Frisaro

Braxton Garrett, the seventh overall pick in the 2016 Draft and Miami's No. 1 prospect according to MLBPipeline.com, has been shut down temporarily due to left elbow soreness. Garrett exited a May 25 start for Class A Greensboro after 1 2/3 innings, allowing four runs (two homers) on six hits in his fourth start for the club. The Marlins are confident the 19-year-old will be fine with some rest. Garrett is no longer on Greensboro's roster, he is now on short-season Class A Batavia, which opens on June 19. The Marlins are limiting Garrett's total innings this season to about 100.

No reason to DL guys in the minors-they don't get level service time. Just send them down to Rookie Ball since the rosters are now OPEN until they are better. Honestly tho long as he gets 100 innings in,it really doesn't matter where he pitches.

It's like Dillon Peters-he will miss 2 months but they can just send him to AFL to get innings so not as big of an issue.

Im more concerned over the elbow issue soreness 4 starts into his career when they were careful and he didnt pitch in a minor league game for like a year after he was drafted despite being a "fast riser."

They changed his mechanics which was the reason he was in Extended ST. Wouldn't be too concerned yet, same thing happened with Kolek-they changed his mechanics and they knew pretty quick it was TJ. He probably already got an MRI and it showed nothing which is why they said "rest"

That is the one thing when u screw with a guys mechanics-most of these kids have thrown the same way for 5 years. All of a sudden Benedict gets a hold of them and says do this or that to clean it up. They do it and it takes the arm some time to adjust. Now in July if he still hasn't pitched its time to get worried
