        Scouting Grades* (present/future): Fastball: 6/7 | Curve 5/6 | Control: 3/5 | Overall: 4/6
This University of Arkansas reliever really impressed during his time in the Cape Cod League, and while he was slowed by a rib cage muscle strain, he was throwing well as the Razorbacks' closer during his junior season.

A bulldog right-hander, Suggs is all power, with a sinking fastball that sits mid-90s and can touch more than that. He complements it with a power breaking ball that can be an out pitch at times. With slightly better command and perhaps a little refinement to his breaking stuff, he has the kind of arm that could close games at the Major League level.

With starter Ryne Stanek a potential early first-rounder and Suggs finishing games off, there were many reasons for scouts to head to Arkansas games this spring.

I just watched him pitch a few days ago. Was pretty impressed, but it was one inning, so whatever.

To add to Ralph's stats above, he allowed 10 hits in those 20.2 ip.

I'm sure that was in regards to the 17 walks in 20.2ip.

For a second there, I was wondering why we drafted a cornerback.

I've seen him throw a couple times in person last year. He had great stuff and shut down the Gators pretty quickly IIRC but he also wasn't closing at the time.

So he did, in fact, beat Florida?

I think so. Can't remember if they won the series last year. I know we took at least one in a one run game.

Jonathan Mayo just said he could be up by the end of this year. Don't think I buy that.

His girlfriend is already tweeting about the Marlins stuff she's bought, so he'll be signing.
