I was at the game live yesterday. I'm not sure what his profile is in terms of his pitches, but he was throwing mostly offspeed stuff; I'm not sure he ever cranked it up to 90. I think his fastest pitch might have been 88 mph. Most of his stuff was 82-84.

Good info gee. This mostly fits with what little scouting info we got on him as a teenager. I was hoping maybe as he's a couple years older now that he may have gotten some velo bumps, doesn't look like that's the case. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see when/what level the smoke and mirrors stops working.

Lewin diaz's potential is going to be limited until he can raise his OBP capabilities. The lack of a ton of k's is good, but he either needs to walk more or not just be all extra base hits.

Also, just looking over the stats of the top prospects and we definitely made the right decision last year between meyer and lacy

brian anderson made a rehab appearance for AAA tonight. If i recall correctly they put him on the 60 day DL for some reason to make room on the 40 man on may 25th so he has another 8 days of rehab anyways. He will probably not need all 8 days but whatever.
