jj bleday is starting to heat up. It was a matter of time, his plate discipline was really good for his first taste of AA action and first real game action in 2 years.

quietly every single one of our pitching draftees from last years shorter draft look great. Dax fulton is really the only one with bad stats and even he shook off the TJ rust after his first 2 starts and has been lights out in his last 4 starts. Kyle nicolas numbers arent great but he got off to a great start and the last 2 starts have inflated his numbers. super encouraging draft so far

as i said yesterday, bleday is heating up. He's walked 21 times in 33 games so it was only a matter of time as he was seeing the ball, clearly just adjusting to the new level, but since the start of june he has hit .357, 1.188 OPS, 5/4 K/BB ratio, and 3 HR's already in just 28 ab's after just 1 in 85 may ab's. He's gonna be a stud in the middle of the lineup. I envision Devers leading off playing second, Jazz hitting 2nd, Bleday hitting 3rd, and Jesus Sanchez hitting 4th or 5th long term.

You're that high on Devers, huh? I think if we want to talk about slapping hitting middle infielders in our system I think I'd take Nasim Nunez, although of course he's a couple years behind in development, also younger. Honestly I hope Rojas is kept around for the next 2-3 years.

Everything goes right, 2023 Lineup should be:

                  1. Jazz Chisholm 2B
                  2. Starling Marte CF
                  3. Free Agent/Trade 1B/3B Elite Hitter
                  4. Jesus Sanchez LF
                  5. Peyton Burdick DH
                  6. JJ Bleday RF
                  7. Anderson/FA/Trade 1B/3B
                  8. FA/Trade C
                  9. Miguel Rojas SS

The FO is going to have to spend money and get creative dealing their starting pitching surplus for bats. It's not going to be a lineup full of guys that are still considered prospects in our system.

Thomas Jones is a name that gets lost in the shuffle. He's been significantly better than Misner so far this year and they're the same age.
