          The Miami Marlins signed 10th-round pick and power-hitting first baseman Ron Miller for around $200,000, sources said. Miller's draft pick value was listed at $125,000.

          Miller was signed to play at UNLV. He was ranked No. 161 nationally by PG, No. 33 in the State of California and No. 10 at his position on the national stage. Miller hails from Los Angeles (Serra HS).

              Nice. I assume this means Gunter doesn't get signed. But as long as they get Romero, it should be a nice haul.

                317) Ron Miller, 1B, Miami Marlins: .182/.225/.356 with six walks, 51 strikeouts in 132 at-bats for the GCL Marlins. Very impressive strength/power, but no clue about hitting at this point, can't make contact. Slot bonus for high school first baseman.
