Marlins ink 10th-rounder Ron Miller

The Miami Marlins signed 10th-round pick and power-hitting first baseman Ron Miller for around $200,000, sources said. Miller's draft pick value was listed at $125,000.
Miller was signed to play at UNLV. He was ranked No. 161 nationally by PG, No. 33 in the State of California and No. 10 at his position on the national stage. Miller hails from Los Angeles (Serra HS).
