I still think its asinine to have Chad James start out in Greensboro when he hasnt thrown a pitch at the Rookie or Low A levels yet. Kind of like trying to say "see look! he is starting out at Greensboro, he wasnt a crappy pick!"

No more asinine than asserting he was a crappy pick before he's even thrown a pitch.

Isn't Gboro low a? I thought Jupiter was our high a or advanced team? Rookie Ball and Short Season which are considered lower don't start until after the June draft or around that time, or so I believe.

Short Season (Jamestown) is some time referenced as A-, so I assume that's why he called it low A.

          "Garrett Parcell"

          ?????

Yeah, but doesn't the short season start in June? Is Gboro not the lowest level he could be at currently? I'm not 100% sure on all the details of the minors but I think that is so.

He didn't play rookie ball or short season last year because it took a while for him to sign.

Could be a very solid outfield here with Jensen and Ozuna. Hickman won't start in Gboro.

Damn sure does sound like Brad Hand from last year. I like the move let the kid pitch take his lumps(Skip is catching so no help there)and by mid season he will look good

Parcell could and should be in AA? These look like early lists but dont forget he was injured 2 years ago so probably just getting him so work

Very nice OF-Jensen,Rand Smith,Ozuna 2 hitters and a CF who can play solid D

Hand pitched at the lower levels before he went to Greensboro.

Although, to be fair, its no secret my expectations for James are incredibly low.

So Greensboro is the lowest level he can start at now, right?

Like, if he doesn't go to Gboro he has to do extended Spring Training, right?

Good, let him do that. He shouldnt of been a douchebag and held out, maybe he wouldnt be in this position.

Figures the Marlins make a big reach on a player so they can pay slot or a little less and he still holds out for more money.

I agree his crybaby dad shouldnt have had him held out for another $250,000 but he gotta pitch somewhere

Ya if u are not on a roster u are either stuck on the backfields in Jupiter playing St Louis and other teammates everyday and training OR just waiting for a guy to get injured so u can play

So 2 options hope someone gets hurt or wait till the GCL and NYPL start in July

                              Yeah. This.

If they think he's ready for Greensboro, who gives a shit if he held out?

Todd, you've never seen the guy pitch. You sound absolutely ridiculous with this crap.

"Maybe he wouldn't be in this position"? What position? Pitching competitively at a higher level? The team obviously thinks he's ready.
