Did this w/o opening csbc What are Trouts ratings? Did it knowing he had Trout as I talked to him a few days ago and I figure he's like in top 10 prospects in CSBC. But yea if I screwed myself by not opening CSBC and checking him out it's my fault and no reason trade should be held.

It's not a matter of "screwed", Trout is a cool player and certainly interesting to have. But I just traded you Miggy a year ago and you gave up roughly double what you're getting now.

And to Bob, it's not a matter of being wrong, I'm not saying the trade isn't going to happen. Heck if you felt you made a good offer for Miggy, you should be more than confident you'll end up with him. My issue is that this should have some time to get out for people to assess. Trading in this league is hard enough without having to miss a trade because it was made within 5 minutes of a sim. That's why we have them every other day, so everyone gets an opportunity to look at things.

If I have to propose a rule change to not allow trades on sim days (with the exception of trade deadline), I will.

Propose a rule, and enforce it from here on out. But making a rule and enforcing it unilaterally on stuff that happened before the rule was passed is the wrong way to go about it.

You should only be taking this vested an interest in battling this if you feel as though your offer is threatened. If you made a fair offer, heck, according to you Ralph ASKED for Trout, you should be fine.

This isn't protecting Ralph, this isn't scolding you. This is giving the other 2/3 of the league that hasn't seen this trade yet the opportunity actually make a move.

Ralph doesnt owe the rest of the league anything. He put it on the block, but he didn't have to, and he doesn't have to give the rest of the league notice.

Also if it's undone, my offer is now public, isn't that putting me at a disadvantage in negotiations? How is that fair to me?
