    Holy shit Tim McCarver.

His reasoning for why Teixeira's foot was obviously off the bag.

Well, he had to reach back afterwards to put it back on. Well, you could reach for the ball and drag your toe on the bag and/or come off the bag after catching the ball and then going back to the back doesnt prove he was off the bag when he caught it.

Then he said Hunter had the best view of it and he was pissed and thought he was safe, so it must be true.

    Ehe

You lucky bastard and it must have been worth freezing your ass off since the Yankees won.

It was funny listening to McCarver's amazement that a ball is slower as it goes over the plate than after it leaves a pitcher's hand.

It was funnier listening to McCarver quote a bunch of titles about Jeter's defense after he hit a home run.

The umpiring has been spectacular all post season.

Way to look like NBA officials guys!

At least more inclusive replay is a real possibility (which is a good thing, at least to me).

Yankees fans do not deserve to have ARod getting huge hitss
                        --------------------
If ARod was on the Marlins, the front office would be like, hey, JoeG, this guy ARod is really good, he needs to be playing and JoeG would be like, I've never seen anybody on this team play before and I did no scouting work, but I have decided that ARod should start the first few months of the season in the minors and we can go from there.

Has Mike Scioscia not told these guys to hit the ball in the air to right field?

Good thing you can hit Damon.

Cause you throw like an 8 year old girl.

Maybe I missed it, but who did Girardi "hold down" in '06? I mean, if '09 is any indication, the inferior player (Bonifacio) will be given every chance to earn his keep.
