Go Twins. I hope the Metrodome keeps rocking in the postseason.

Because they are the only team in baseball that would welcome Bonerface with open arms?

There's absolutely no way the Twins lose this game, right? I mean, even if the pitching still slightly favors Detroit, it's in the Dome, where the Tigers are dreadful, the Tigers are the chokers, the Twins are playing with the house's money, and then Miggy has 18,000X more pressure than he would normally and the Tigers offense, outside of Miggy isn't that good.

                What am I missing?

That they play the game on the field and not on paper.

The big thing is that Porcello is so talented he could shut down the Twins by himself

Do they take it one game at a time too?

Nick Punto will run circles around and out-hustle the fat guy without the All-American smile known as Miguel Cabrera.

Cabrera will still hit the go-ahead grand slam-- one handed and drunk.

Well, Scott Baker is Ricky Nolasco-lite: good strikeout numbers, doesn't give up walks, but a flyball pitcher who gives up extra base hits. If he doesn't give up his 1-2 HRs that he usually does, or gives them up as solo shots, the Twins win this without a problem. But Baker always has the possibility of a Nolasco-like performance - and not the good kind, but the 7 extra base hits and 6 runs in 3 innings kind.

Remember when we could have gotten Scott Baker for Mike Lowell in 2005? I do.
