Ok. Comparing Bradley to TO was lazy (I can admit when I'm wrong unlike 75% of our membership).

I'm calling bob lazy because he's Puerto Rican or something and I hate spics.

If you ask me if I want Bradley and his 2007 (or was it 2008) OPS for 2010 my answer is maybe. My two issues would be would we get that OPS and it would be a matter of WHEN not IF he would start whining about how he was treated etc.

I'd take the .850 he's been for the past 7 years. And I really don't think he'd have issues here, for reasons outlined above and because I feel like at least some of his issues have been overblown.

To quote him (on why he received a two game suspension when the brim of his helmet brushed the brim of an umps hat), "I'm Milton Bradley, you know what I'm saying?"

It will not bother me if he whines about stuff. It will bother me if he sucks

Again, why don't I hear about Derek Lee having problems in Chicago?

I do. Because a lot of this discussion has hinged on it not being so much Bradley, but the positions/places he is put in. Why is he having a problem but Derek Lee isn't.

Because Derek Lee is hitting like a fucking maniac and so nobody is mad at him.

But Bradley's been disappointing (still has a .378 OBP, good for 3rd on his team and would be 3rd on our team) and I'm assuming the fans are more brutal in the bleachers in RF than in the rich seats on the 1B line. The Bleachers at Wrigley are notorious for being filled with belligerent, drunken idiots, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's hearing racial slurs every single day.

Derek Lee has had periods of struggling offensively. Every month is not wine and roses for Lee.

You may have a point though reference the bleacher seats.

                    That's it.

                    I want to fight you.

Meet me at the Boca Ale House at 10:00 AM tommorow. If I'm running late just practice falling down for a while in the parking lot.

I'm pretty sure Soriano has also had some problems with people in the outfield.

Soriano hasn't made any charges of racial epitaphs hurled at him from the bleachers. They get on him from time to time because A) there are lots of drunk people in the bleachers and B) he fucks up a lot in the field (and this year he has struggled at the plate).

Apparently, Bradley did turn pretty much the entire Cubs clubhouse against him with his douchebaggery. Even Soriano was rebuffed when he tried to approach him and Soriano kind of called him out about it recently. The thing with Bradley is if he is going good then everything will likely be fine, but if he struggles he just cannot deal with any criticism and he becomes a clubhouse cancer. For the Cubs to take this step shows that the problems with Bradley ran pretty deep. (And don't forget Bradley trying to storm the KC Royals TV booth last year because he thought the analyst was disrepecting him.)

Bradley seems like a pretty level headed guy.

If our players are so fucking weak that some stupid fucktard who plays baseball well would cause them all to fucking suck, Id rather not have em
