Pittsburgh just traded Hanrahan to Boston for prospects and everyone is crying about how stupid the trade is. Just once I wish fans would realize every not every team can spend 100 million a year and that they need to get prospects that can pan out.

I like what Pitt did,they resign Grilli to close and decide let's trade Hanrahan while his value is high for prospects that can help us in 2014 when the rest of our guys are ready instead of holding onto a guy and getting less for him.

Nice to see that Marlins fans aren't the biggest idiots in MLB.

Pirates signed Francisco Liriano, 13million over 2 years.

Pretty Much Market Value-if Nolasco had a 6.5 mil a year contract we would have 5-8 teams asking about him instead we have 1 or 2 asking and they want us to kick in money

It's terrible that he felt that was his only option. It would be cool if we lived in a culture that didn't have a stigma about people being treated for mental illness. Guy was only 36, he still had so much ahead of him.
