I actually think a computer scoring ball/strikes would lead to some pretty ugly games, as pitchers would have to keep throwing it right into hitters wheelhouses or the computer wont credit them with a strike, especially in heavy counts.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Some will go "ehe, what a bad call" and some just refuse to admit it happened.

Not even a little bit.
You are calling me a moron for assuming how a thing will work without knowing but you are assuming it will work good without knowing how it will work.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Or a hairstylist."

Nope. We're not assuming anything without knowing actual facts or information. Because we're not Todd

The system would work better than you think. You can have a sensor in the ball and a map of the strike zone behind the plate that will record the spot. You can then have each individual player's strike zone measured and input those parameters for their at bats. It would be pretty accurate then.
