Like I said he does not care where he plays its who ever offers the most cash
The Marlins offer was actually 6/40,it was 6/36 like Rodriguez says but he had a chance to make 4 million in bonus money(bonuses that supposedly were VERY easy to make like AB's a year)
Soler is also on out list so watch for him next however like people said it will be 20 million for a guy that will be at Jupiter this year
If given the choice, I'd rather pay 20 million to the 19-year old starting in A ball than pay 36 million to the 26-year old starting in AAA.
There's no way Cespedes starts in the big leagues with Oakland. They're loaded with outfielders. That's all they've done this offseason - pick up outfielders.
I was going to criticize how bad editors do their jobs lately but after clicking on the link to see the source I don't expect them to actually have an editor on staff. But seriously did the author just want to make sure he got his name spelled right once and he was that uncertain about it? It's not like they are obvious typos.

I just find that weird considering we know absolutely nothing about either of them.
Hence the reason why I'd rather have the guy who's cheaper and 7 years younger.
But you're still paying him major league, guaranteed money to be in the minors. Or you're paying him small amounts of money in the minors and then paying him just as much as you would pay Yoenis when he finally does arrive at the major league level.
