I still don't see how we can support a payroll this big. I think the last I read about a contract for CJ was 6/$90 million. That takes our current payroll to $120 million ($128 with Oveido/Volstad). If we get CJ, someone with a big contract (Nolasco?) has to be out the door.

I'm no really complaining but this does prove my point that if we get CJ, we'd pretty much have to get rid of Ricky. Keeping Ricky takes us to over $117 million, assuming we do get a vet bench guy for $500K and Stanton, LoMo and the others making $480 on this list don't get the "performance raise" we like to give. It's just crazy that we are more than doubling our payroll in one off season, even with the new stadium.

And Hayes should be at $480K so that takes the total listed abpve to $111+ million but that's splitting hairs.
