  • Theo is going to want for Garza than that.

    • Maybe it's just my wishful thinking, but I seriously think 10/235 gets it done. There's a reason why the Cards haven't even budged on their original offer of like $198M (or whatever it was).

lol. Did Larry Bowa seriously just say that even with Pujols that this team isn't making the playoffs without getting a pitcher?

Probably not, but I'd be willing to give anyone not named Logan or Christian.

It's not unreasonable to think that.

            • It sucks that Champions League Soccer is on today.

              • The reason the Cards haven't budged since their initial offer is because they haven't had to budge.

                • James Shields is also on the radar if we sign Pujols. Alot of teams(especially small market teams) love Gaby

I'm glad I'm not home to watch it, or I'd have yet another distraction preventing me from doing my final powerpoint.
God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

                      • Chelsea up 2-0...really the only game I wanted to watch today and I wanted them to lose.

Also going to take a lot to get him.

I don't see how signing Pujols and trading for a top tier starter is not going to cost us either LoMo or Stanton. No GM in their right mind is going to trade a frontline starter for a 28-year old Gaby and low level prospects (since that's where most of our talent is).

                          • Stanton isn't going anywhere. LoMo, maybe.
