                  They trashed him for not having CF range and making too many errors. People wanted Juan Pierre to shift him to LF, am I the only one who remembers this junk?

                      In what’s historically been a defense first position, Kemp is a decidedly below average defensive centerfielder. In his partial 2006 and 2007 seasons, he posted UZRs of -7.9 and -4.8, respectively. From 2008 through this year, he’s posted -2.1, 2.9, -25.7 and -5.8.
                      I'm no sabrmagician but negative usually means bad. Just talking about defense here, he's a great player and I think he's improved a ton from watching him.
