That article re-confirmed my opinion that Kevin Youkilis is a huge douche and I'd be more than happy if the Sox got rid of him.
For that matter, Ortiz has had quite vocal criticism of the organization in the media over the last year. He's 36 and every year he ages makes it less likely he's gonna keep producing like this. They can dump him too, if he's as unhappy as he sounds.
Damn this team is unlikable.*Is a huge fucking asshole*

McKeon locked the clubhouse in 2003 to keep Beckett, Penny, and others from jerking off in there during games: http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/marli...in-the-dugout/

I mean, does it really matter? Is there really anything shocking about things becoming an issue when you're not doing well? This is what happens everywhere. When you stop doing job, you lose privileges. When you do your job well, you get away with shit. This is not breaking news.
I don't understand why everyone is confused by this.
No one would care if he was pitching well, but instead he was a useless piece of shit so yeah people are pissed that he was drinking and eating chicken in the clubhouse. Stunning.

I get to use my laptop at work because I do my job well and get everything done. If that stops, I won't get to use it anymore.

I'm not concerned with the fact that it has become an issue because he and they did not do well. I just don't care for the way that it has been reported. Most reports seem to want to imply that they sucked because they were doing these things rather than what you said which is that these things became unacceptable while they sucked. It is just silly to report it that way because it is incorrect and misleading.

Yeah. Best thing to do is to hire me to tell them softly that I don't have a problem with them doing these types of things because I understand it is how it's always been done around there, but that it would be best if they find their way to the dugout during the games so that people don't unfairly place blame on them for the team being shit and that when the game is over I will gladly drink all the beer and play all the video games they want with them and that I will even have Jooj bring fried chickens.

"Yes, absolutely I have before," AJ Pierzynski told The Dan Patrick Show. "Sometimes you're just really struggling and you just say, ‘Hey, you know what, I need something to calm me down and let's have a beer.' A couple of us will do it together, and sometimes it works out.
"It's just, sometimes you just need a rally beer. If you're in extra innings and you're in about the 15th inning and you really need to get going again, that sometimes works for you."
