Even if I'm no fan of either team, this is a really cool story. I wish him nothing but the best.

I think it's cool just because I want to see what he can do with that disaster of a club over the next few years

America's second most annoying fanbase will hopefully be shed of the extremely tiring "lovable losers" moniker.

I mean, if this is all true, they pretty much have to blow that roster up right?

Some of the stuff there is silly. Like the Adrian Gonzalez stuff and the main thing being the pitchers doing the drinking and playing and eating in the clubhouse. They did it since the previous year but it was suddenly a problem because they started losing. I would like to see one of those progression-type videos of them standing shirtless and turning really fat.

I think that whole article is perfect proof of how the outcome on the field breeds the chemistry much more than the other way around.

I don't know that it's even that it was breeding a chemistry. The chemistry was the chemistry and then they had a really shitty month so "they" said the chemistry suddenly mattered.

Well, it certainly sounds like the clubhouse got more and more miserable as the month got worst.

They needed a new chemistry set.

Theo left. He signed a 5 year deal with the Cubs.

Hanging around the clubhouse drinking beer, eating fried chicken, and playing video games sounds extremely awesome and I can't fault anyone for doing it

I'd rather do that than watching 4 hour Red Sox marathons.

What's wrong with taking 90 seconds between pitches?

Just trying to point fingers at everyone they can (except of course the golden boy, Pedroia). The Adrian Gonzalez blurb is retarded and the owners buying them all $300 headphones for having to play in a double-header is equally as retarded.

The clubhouse having turmoil is not why they lost, but with them losing it certainly caused them to have clubhouse turmoil.

I like how apparently, everyone but Jed Lowrie hates Jacoby Ellsbury because he was hurt in 2010. That makes absolutely no sense.

@Buster_ESPN: RT @ToddZolecki: Ryan Howard had surgery. Had complete tear. Amaro estimates 5-6 month recovery until he can play at accustomed level.
