      Why would Arizona trade him?

Idk, why'd they look into trading him in the offseason?

Yeah, maybe before the season. But they don't exactly look like sellers in the near term.

If a Yankee fan likes a player, they decide that the Yankees are going to sign them or trade for them. I know from my extensive experience studying Yankee fans.

I never said we will sign them. Just that we'll go after them. On the Upton trade, I'm not saying that it will happen but hoping it could.
                      --------------------
I looked at the Yankees' contract obligations and saw that they are around $150 mil. That leaves $60 mil in spending money. We'd have the money to sign them both.

Including postseason, #Twins Joe Mauer & Justin Morneau have played only 9 games together in last 198 team games.
                        that's ridiculous

Joe Posnanski pointed out on his blog today that Dan Uggla had a random 40 game stretch from July-August that was actually more productive than his 31 game hitting streak. Funny to see:

                          During the hitting streak: .355/.409/.685
                          40-game stretch last year: .354/.440/.660

Uggla homered to extend streak to 32 straight.
