lol I'm on a Reds forum and everyone is "puzzled" by the Reds subjecting (and losing) Danny Ray Herrera to waivers and not adding anyone immediately to the 40. They don't get that their initial plan was to call Dontrelle Willis up once Herrera was off the roster and then that plan was foiled Dontrelle got hurt. lol some people are so silly sometimes.

He was put on waivers either Thursday or Friday. (outright waivers, so it wasn't announced or even known about.) Dontrelle got hurt during his start on Saturday and placed on the DL on Sunday. Jocketty already said that Dontrelle would have been called up if he wouldn't have gotten hurt. Also on Sunday, Danny Ray was claimed by the Brewers.

To start on Friday (for Volquez.) I guess they already decided that they wanted to send him down. They needed a roster spot to add Dontrelle to the roster.

Dodgers called up AA pitcher Rubby De La Rosa, he's one of their better prospects.
