                      • The rules are already known though. Even for people who do not know the rules, at least one person in the booth will tend to get it right after someone tells them the rule in their ear. To then go to a guy in a studio and have him repeat what we already know is bound to be followed by awkward "uhhhh, well yeah, why are we doing this" silence.

                          That isn't always the case. It happened a lot during the NFL season, I don't know if baseball will need it as often as the NFL did though.

                          • I think it is justified in the NFL because they can bring their guy in during the delays caused by review; in that way, it fits. But here, they will probably overuse it just to get use of having a guy in their studio.
