I'm just tired of all their moves being called genius. They're one of the best front offices in baseball but not every move of theirs is genius.

I assume you were referring to their signings of Manny and Damon when you made your original post, right?

Manny is a good signing and Damon is eh. Also signing Farnsworth wasn't genius, it's just ok.

They have to sign guys like Burrell given their financial constraints. That it didnt work out doesn't mean it was an inherently flawed decision.
