I remember like in 2004 or something like that they were supposed to sign Vlad since they finally got rid of the Albert Belle money and were going to be good again, but got Tejada instead. That's when they were gonna turn things around in Baltimore, and now look at far they've come.

If I'm a Blue Jays fan I really like this trade.

Wells did have a .847 OPS in 10' which is .27 better than Anaheims highest last year (Matsui) but that is one fat contract.
