Yes, his bunting and small ball drives me crazy. He doesn't have to do this anymore. The Twins can actually hit for power now, which they couldn't when they were a pitching-heavy team without power in the early to mid 2000's.

I saw somewhere (don't remember where) that Gardy's like the MLB version of Andy Reid. Pretty good overall, but has a few major deficiencies that ultimately harm him (for Gardy, it's the small ball bullshit, for Reid, it's the clock management). It wasn't a perfect comp but I enjoyed it and thought it made some sense.
