An MRI of [Jordan] Zimmermann's elbow showed some "concerning facts", and the images will be sent to Dr. James Andrews on Monday, the Washington Times reports
This happened because you went from not posting in this thread to making the thread a Red Sox game thread on one random day. That is why. For true.
Anyway, ARod's kinda clutch, eh? Until he doesnt bat 1.000 in the playoffs or home every at bat after the 6th inning, then he gon get booed and then these games, it will be decided, were not important because regular season games dont matter

I am sorry, I will not talk about my team's games in the "general-talk-about-non-Marlins-baseball-games-here" thread. I did not realize something so ridiculously trivial could contribute to my team dropping 6 divisional games in a row. THE HORROR!
Yep. Gotta decide if you want to give up a run and take your chances with what follows or risk giving up more to a guy who is currently incredibly likely to get a hit and usually bring more than 1 run in. It is a decision though, take your pick is right.
Phillies are going to put Moyer in the 'pen to make room for Pedro. Not really too shocking but I expect Moyer to make about two more "spot" starts when he faces us.
TJ Surgery, he gone

Heading into tonight, both Vlad Guerrero and Joe DiMaggio have the same amount of at bats. Kinda cool to see their stats head to head.
It's actually amazing that Vlad's numbers in the NL vs the AL are almost identical average and OBP wise. The slugging percentage has dropped a bit, sure, but he's also getting older. Despite injury issues in a couple of years, he's hit 25+ homers every year since he was 23 and driven in 100 runs in 9 years (90+ in 10).
