When visiting friends and family in central Florida this past weekend, I rented a Mercury Grand Marquis. It was a lark.

Baseball has enough ridiculous traditions as it is. I'm fine with seeing the manager and coaches in the same uniforms as the players. Isn't one silly/ridiculous tradition enough?

Wouldn't it be ridiculous to see Urban Meyer or Mark Mangino fully suited up in jersey, pads, helmet, etc.? Stan Van in a tank top and some gym shorts? Baseball gotta make some changes. Maybe Obama can become commish in 2013.

I actually feel sorry for Joyce. Yeah, he blew the call, but there are A LOT of fans out there who take this game a little too seriously and will start targeting him and his family.
