I like how despite the fact you all hate him, you still listen so you can reaffirm your hate. All of that can be skipped by ignoring him. I dislike Rush Limbaugh...I don't listen to him and say boy this topic sucks and he does too.

I think he does solid interviews and is very connected. Just because baseball isn't his strongest sport, doesnt mean he sucks. His college football coverage is bar none, the best on radio.

To be really honest the only reason why I've listened to him 4 times in the last month is that my XM Radio went busto.

I don't know enough about college football to say if he's the best at it but I do know that he consistently makes a fool of himself when discussing MLB.

To be honest, there are 4,000 radio channels or so in this world (exaggeration). You could listen to anything else. There's probably Sporting News or Foxsports Radio down there, yet you tune in to find out what he's SOOOOOO wrong about. Just very odd to me.

What does any of that prove? How is that an argument against him being an idiot?

Also, his college football coverage sucks because (just like his MLB analysis), the man is incapable of having an original thought. He just spits out tired cliches and applies them to new situations. That's not analysis; that's not insightful.

People can perhaps listen to him because they want to see "What the hell makes this guy so popular?" It's like how I'll watch an occasional episode of "Two and a Half Men" and say, "Who the hell makes this garbage the most popular comedy in America?" Did I have to watch it in order to formulate that opinion? Sure. Doesn't watching it, in and of itself, make my criticism any less valid? I don't think so.
