Votto is as deserving as Pujols and more deserving than any other NL 1b.
Jose Reyes is a horrible choice.
Glad to see Arthur Rhodes make it.

There's some absolutely dreadful choices on that NL squad.

Glad they snuck Omar Infante on the roster as the Braves' 4th representative.

This might be the worst NL All-Star roster I've ever seen.

              Phillips: .308/.368/.479
              Uggla: .268/.356/.471

Not to mention Phillips defense is well above Uggla's

Gotta admit I didn't realize Phillips' numbers were that good. I thought he was OPSing around .780. Okay; that's fine then, I guess. Doesn't explain Infante, though.

                    Phillips' numbers are strongly splittastic.

Honestly, it's not out of the realm that all of these guys get smacked around by the AL.

I said this a while ago when they were all basically unhittable at the time.

I mean Halladay was the best pitcher in the AL for a decade so I'm fairly certain at least he can go toe-to-toe with them

Well they may only pitch 1 inning or 2 so just wield and deal rather than trying to maintain it for 7 innings.
