  • Jose Lima Dies

Former major league pitcher Jose Lima has died today from a massive heart attack. Lima, 37, was a twenty game winner and pitched for six different organizations including the Houston Astros and Kansas City Royals.
Lima, who was known for dying his hair and his self proclaimed "Lima Time", was a 20 game winner for the Astros in 1999.

As for his history with the Marlins, in 2006 as a member of the New York Mets, Lima gave up a grand slam to Marlins pitcher Dontrelle Willis.
