Berti/Galloway/Herrera still getting AB's? Sounds like NOPE!!

DFA Berti and Herrera-call up Dean and Ramirez. Send BA back to 3rd and start taking calls on Prado/Grandy

Offense will still be crap but rather see what the young guys can do instead of guys who shouldn't even be in AAA

Be interesting to see what they do with arms over next month or so. Brice can't sit in Jupiter all month with the squirts,Ferrell/Fernandez have to be on the ML roster and 3 guys in AAA are looking great

Should note that Ramirez will be on 40 man eventually because no chance in hell they let him leave in offseason

Hope it doesn't hurt your feelings, but I agree with all that. Gallen and Noesi are ready to switch places with Richards and Alcantara while the latter two work on command/control. I don't discount Sierra getting time in CF either. He's shown good stuff as a leadoff guy at JAX.

You do realize that big league hitters are better than AAA hitters, right? You want Trevor Richards demoted now, yet last year you wanted him promoted ASAP.

Richards has to stop walking hitters or he's not going to make it. Same for Alcantara.

And they’re going to stop doing that by going to AAA?

They can work on it without the consequence of blocking Gallen and Noesi.

                Noesi? LOL

The great Hector Noesi who is 32 years old and has a career 5.30 ERA in the big leagues. What a shame that we’re blocking him.

Caleb smith is a legit top of the rotation guy

Marlins Park saves a HR.........for Romo and the Marlins

Romo clearly has nothing tonight. Go get him, Donnie.

                    - - - - - - - - - -

A HR, a rope line drive single and a ball to the warning track

                    GO FUCKING GET HIS ASS

I like how Don Mattingly only uses our best reliever when we’re losing.

                        Romo was awful tonight.

Caleb has a nifty 2.81 FIP this year

Richards has made 6 starts and of those, 4 are quality starts. He had a poor start in Philly last time out but he has done nothing to deserve a demotion to AAA.

Alcantra has struggled more, but there is very little left for him to accomplished at AAA.

I think you can say that this time next year if these results continue, but definitely encouraging. Getting even a legit 3 longterm would be tremendous

You mean guys with 1 good pitch and otherwise average stuff like Richards don't exactly replicate stuff moving levels?

And Pablo has a 2.99 which is just as awesome. A 2 and 3 would be amazing, but I'll settle fast for a 3 and 4. They should get at least one more out of Richards/Gallen/Neidert, and then there is Sixto and free agency money and we're done here.

Can't see Sandy not moved to the pen with the sub-6 K/9. It may take a year from now, but that needs radical improvement even if he is, mostly, holding his own.
