watching heat game but just saw on twitter that brinson got the first HR and extra base hit of the year against the brewers. Good for him and hipefully a sign of things to come for him.

Kid to me regardless of the results is a kid who (at my age from the same area) is so much more mentally tough than id ever be. Hopefully he can pick it up and become what we thought hed be. I have no doubt he's the future in CF for us. Hope he watches lorenzo cain as his mentor

Signing Tazawa and Ziegler as if they are Chapman and Kimbrel and expecting to create a super bullpen is just one of the most mind numbingly stupid decisions the franchise has ever made.

They didn’t sign them expecting them to be Chapman/Kimbrel to be fair. Money wise, it’s not even close...

While likely not serious till June/July looks like Toronto is interested in JT IF they are in race.

Some rumblings they have had early talks about JT/Prado to Toronto for Bo and 1 or 2 mid level prospects. Again likely only happens if Toronto is in race in July. They will NOT talk Vlad Jr and would like to see Prado play some too

Toronto tried this with Yelich/Prado but we passed on a lesser package with salary relief so not sure what they would do this time?

he's unavailable. It would be bichette and that would still be a great addition to the farm system. I think i would need a couple more prospects in the deal though and i really dont like the rest of their farm system.

I really dont see the need to involve prado in a JT deal. We already cut salary, Prado only has 1 more year after this and he can rehab his value and maybe get something for him at the deadline or in the offseason, and the only other real salary we have long term is chen and castro who will be traded by the deadline. I get wanting to get rid of his salary in general, but attaching him to JT doesnt make sense unless the other team legitimately wants prado and it isnt just a way for us to dump more of his salary.

Like half and half. They have interest in Prado IF he can play 3B. Would let Donaldson move to DH. However they also think if they add Prado we will lower the price on JT(Instead of 4/5 guys they can do 2/3) even tho we have already shown them we won't do it

Still long way off just saying Toronto could be a possible spot for JT and make us think.

Probably been seeing Singer is dropping. Crazy as he was projected 1/1 as early as a few months ago and his performance has been very good. He’d be a get.
